Chicago Bears promising Quarterback Mitch Trubisky’s nickname in high school was Brett Favre.
Bears head Coach Matt Nagy said he was unaware of this until this week, and Trubisky was quick to shut down this conversation saying:
#Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky's nickname in HS was "Favre"
"I'm done with that nickname. Nobody calls me that no more … I don't play for Green Bay. It was just a nickname back in the day so I'm the Chicago Bears quarterback now." — Mitchell Trubisky pic.twitter.com/EulOeY5Q1U

Here’s a tweet from earlier in the season explaining the nickname.
On this Bears-Packers day, you should know that in high school, Mitch Trubisky drove a Buick with the license plate FAVRE 10. Good details on Mitch from @adamjahns https://t.co/s21znZRnWo

This has to make Bears fans very uncomfortable.
The Bears play the Packers this Sunday, but for once the tables are turned.
Mitchell and the Bears lead the NFC North, and are headed to the playoffs, while the Packers are struggling to stay alive.
