Mississippi State DB John Abram Learned How to Hit from the Movie “The Waterboy”

Mississippi State safety John Abram is known for his hard hitting.  He revealed at the NFL Combine over the weekend where he learned how to hit. 

It wasn’t from watching tape of some of the hardest hitters to ever play the game.  Abram learned how to hit from watching Bobby Boucher.

Yes, the fictional character from the Adam Sandler movie “The Waterboy.”

If you’re going to learn how to hit from a fictional character, Bobby Boucher is a solid choice.  Abram is about to be drafted by an NFL team after all.
