Dolphins defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick absolutely crushed Jaguars receiver Dede Westbrook on a pass over the middle. The collision was a violent one that dropped the receiver, but didn’t involve the head of either player.
Westbrook popped right back to his feet following the big time hit and stayed in the game. This is how you lay a clean hit on someone going across the middle.
Westbrook wasn’t knocked out on the play, but his arms will probably be a little shorter the next time he goes over the middle.
