Milwaukee Brewers star Christian Yelich has his own bus route.
The County Transit System renamed Route 22 (Yelich’s jersey number) in name of the Brewers outfielder who is expected to be named National League Most Valuable Player next week.
Earlier this week, Yelich was revealed as one of three finalists for the MVP honor along with Javier Báez of the Chicago Cubs and Nolan Arenado of the Colorado Rockies.
The transit system honor begins Thursday and extends until Nov. 15th when the MVP is named.
Starting Thursday, Nov 8 and running through Nov 15th when Yelich is named the MVP (don’t @ us, Arenado and Baez), the Route 22 will be called the Yelich Line. pic.twitter.com/YTRLjDffI9
