Angels outfielder Mike Trout was asked for a prediction about his Eagles at the MLB All-Star Game media day on Monday. Without hesitation the New Jersey native said that Philadelphia is headed back to the Super Bowl next season.

The Eagles have made some improvements to their roster over last year’s team, but they did lose Nick Foles and his magic. I wouldn’t count on Nate Sudfeld or Cody Kessler to be able to carry them to the Super Bowl when Carson Wentz goes down.
So unless Wentz, who hasn’t proven he can stay healthy for a full season, is able to avoid injury or the Eagles improve their backup quarterback situation, then I wouldn’t count on them making another Super Bowl run anytime soon.
