Mike Trout returned to the Angels lineup on Friday night. His first action since August 1st, when he sprained his wrist and the death of his brother in law, Aaron Cox, on August 15th.
Trout honored his brother in law by wearing his name on the back of his jersey for Players’ Weekend. On the first pitch Trout saw he hit it off the left field wall for a triple.

Trout added another hit and a walk to his first game back. It wasn’t enough for the Angels to win the game as they lost 9-3 to the Astros. But Trout definitely honored his brother in law.
