Zachary Winston, the younger brother of Michigan State star guard Cassius Winston, was struck and killed by a train on Saturday night. He was a student and basketball player at Division III Albion College.
According to reports, Winston stepped in front of the train as it approached a pedestrian crosswalk at around 8:25 p.m. on Saturday night.
On Sunday morning Michigan State associate head coach, Dane Fife, tweeted out his condolences.
