If there were any hopes left of Penn State participating in the College Football Playoff, they were erased on Saturday. The 8th ranked Nittany Lions lost in the final seconds to Michigan State 21-17.
That sent Spartans fan into a crazed celebration that included burning couches and mattresses in the streets, because how else do you celebrate upsetting a rival?

Michigan State has owned Penn State in recent years. The Spartans have now won five out of the last six games against Penn State.
The Nittany Lions might want to switch things up the next time they play them, because whatever they’re doing hasn’t been working.
