Talk about a happy reunion.
Miami Heat rookie Chris Silva was just 16-years-old when he packed up all his things and left his home in Libreville, Gabon, for the United States in hopes of someday becoming a professional basketball player.

Since 2012, Silva has only returned home once, so he hasn’t been able to see his family members in person for more than three years.
However, thanks to the Miami Heat, Adam Silver, and the NBA, the 23-year-old was reunited with his mother for the first time in three years in Miami on Friday and it was an emotional moment for everyone.
