The Mets continue to do Mets things. On Thursday night, after a 4-1 win, the Single-A St. Lucie Mets started an accidental fire.
The team’s postgame fireworks show didn’t quite go as planned and a wooded area just outside of First Data Field was set on fire.
The fireworks for the St. Lucie Mets did not go well tonight at First Data Field. They set a fire outside the stadium.

The only way this would be anymore fitting is if a dumpster was also set on fire. It looks like the issues with the Mets are from the top of the organization all the way down to the bottom.
All you can ask for is consistency in sports and the Mets are that, consistently poorly run.
