During the Mets 5-2 win over the Brewers on Sunday, Milwaukee’s Ryan Braun got an unexpected gift from a Mets fan. In the bottom of the first inning Braun chased a deep fly ball to the wall and had a beer dumped on his head.
The Mets fan was reaching over the wall trying to catch the ball with his beer. He didn’t catch the ball and neither did Braun, which caused the Brewers to claim there was interference.

There was not interference on the play, because there’s no such thing as beer interference in baseball. Plus there was no way Braun was catching this ball.
