Mets third base coach Glenn Sherlock shook off being hit with a bat after it slipped out of Rockies hitter Tony Wolters hands.  It ricocheted off the top of the dugout and caught him in the back.

It was all caught on camera and as you can see, Sherlock acted as if nothing happened.  He’s good as long as it didn’t catch him in the coconut.

They don’t make men like this former catcher anymore.  If one of the Mets players got hit with the bat, he would be placed on the disabled list before the bat landed on the ground.
