CleRenda McGrady is one smart cookie.
She earned a degree in communications and a master’s in speech pathology.
She met NBA All Star and former Houston Rockets player Tracy McGrady while in college at North Carolina State University.
They married in 2006 and have four children – Layla, 14; Laymen, 11; Laycee, 9; and Layden, 8.
McGrady worked as a speech pathologist in Atlanta until the couple moved to Houston.
Her community involvement includes work with Fort Bend’s Women’s Shelter, Barbara Jordan Endeavors for Students With Disabilities and the Elliott Chandler Foundation, which supports to young men who excel in academics and want to go to college.
