The Detroit Lions dropped to 3-5 on the season after their 24-9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.  Their current record isn’t sitting well with fans, who had high hopes for the team after they won three out of four games in late September and early October

Included in that stretch were wins over the Packers and Patriots.  With loses in their last two games the criticism from the media and fans has increased.

That isn’t sitting well with the wife of quarterback Matthew Stafford.  Kelly Stafford took to her Instagram story to blast both fans and media for being critical of the Lions.

Kelly was likely saying what her husband can’t, but with plays like this one from Stafford, it’s hard to argue that he isn’t deserving of at least a little criticism.

Not to mention, he’s a big boy, who is more than compensated for the criticism he receives.
