Howard lost Saturday’s game 80-78 to Norfolk State. But this didn’t go down as just another quiet loss.
Howard blew a 22-point lead, including a 15-point halftime lead, and didn’t take the loss well. A massive brawl broke out during the handshake line.
The wild scene had players, coaches, fans and family all involved. The police had to help make sure players went into and stayed in their locker rooms.

This might not be the end of the fireworks, because there’s a rematch between the rival schools coming up in early March. That should be a fun game to watch.
Something tells me you’re going to want to grab the popcorn for that one.
