Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte continued his October to remember, setting the all-time postseason hitting streak record at 18 games Saturday.
Marte ripped an RBI single off Texas Rangers left-hander Martín Pérez in the top of the eighth inning in Game 2 of the World Series.

The 30-year-old has been one of the key contributors in Arizona’s surprising run to the World Series. Marte won NLCS MVP and owns a .910 OPS with a pair of home runs, 11 RBIs, and three stolen bases in 63 postseason at-bats.
