News broke early on Wednesday morning that Raiders running back Isaiah Crowell suffered a torn Achilles during a workout with the team on Monday. He will undergo season ending surgery next week.
Raiders’ RB Isaiah Crowell tore his Achilles during a workout with the team Monday and is out for the season, per source. Crowell will undergo season-ending surgery next week. Brutal blow for a player who signed a one-year contract with Oakland.

According to the NFL Network’s Steve Wyche, retired running back Marshawn Lynch would be willing to come out of retirement if the Raiders asked him to return.

That’s certainly an option for Oakland. If they decided to bring Lynch back it would be in a much lesser role than he’s played throughout his career.
Lynch could help to mentor rookie running back Josh Jacobs, who will likely be expected to take on more than originally expected with the injury to Crowell.
And we’ll hopefully get more moments like this one…
Run through a mother****** face.
