Former Raiders punter Marquette King was sent packing shortly after Jon Gruden took over as head coach in Oakland. This weekend as the Denver Broncos punter he will get a shot at a little revenge, maybe kick a rocket at the sideline?
King was asked about facing his old team and didn’t reveal much, other than he’s clearly not a Gruden guy.

Marquette King became a rare star punter during his first five seasons with the Raiders, but he was released soon after Jon Gruden was hired as their latest head coach.
“Who’s that?’’ King said. “I don’t know who you’re talking about.’’
Is King looking forward to the game against his former Raiders?
“I’m looking forward to every game,’’ he said.
As quiet as he was with the media, you can expect the complete opposite on the field. He’s going to kick the ball a mile and make sure everyone in the stadium knows about, especially Gruden.
