The Marlins revealed some upgrades they plan to make to Marlins Park, including adding a social area to the empty space left behind after the removal of their ridiculous home run sculpture.
The removal of the home run sculpture is the first move in turning the Marlins into a fully functional MLB franchise.
Fielding a capable team of players who want to be there is the next step. That step may prove to be a little more difficult than the sculpture removal
The Marlins will use the space in CF from the recently departed "Homer" statue to build a new three-tier social space, called the Center Field Zone, as well as paint the outfield wall from bright green to blue, and redesign the batter's eye. More details to come in SBD. pic.twitter.com/ICt5JEIs8t

Adding a social area is a good idea they just have to figure out how to get people to show up to the games and use the new area.
