Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban announced on Sunday following the death of Kobe Bryant that his team has decided to honor the Lakers legend by retiring his No. 24.
Cuban’s statement on Kobe showed how much respect he had for the 41-year-old’s contribution to the game of basketball.
“Kobe’s legacy transcends basketball, and our organization has decided that the number 24 will never again be worn by a Dallas Maverick.”
