In the third quarter of the Celtics win over the Hawks on Saturday night, Celtics guard Marcus Smart managed to get himself ejected. The incident took place as players were waiting for a jumpball to take place.
Smart was standing next to Hawks forward DeAndre’ Bembry waiting for the jumpball when the two started exchanging words. Smart must have said a couple of words he shouldn’t have and was T’d up.
As the referees were trying to calm things down Smart heard something he didn’t like and attempted to get his hands on Bembry. That earned him the second technical foul and an ejection.

Smart isn’t the kind of guy you want to exchange words with. He’s ready to throw hands at the drop of a hat.
