Things got interesting at the end of the Celtics and Hawks game on Friday night. After trading big shots with time running off the game clock, Atlanta’s young star Trae Young had three point attempt blocked.
Young fell to the floor in a failed attempt to get a foul called. The ball ended up in Marcus Smart’s hands. The Celtics guard attempted a step over move on Young.
Halfway through the move, Smart decided to step on Young instead of over him. Somehow a foul was called on Young and the two teams had a quick discussion about it.
