Model, Mara Martin became an overnight celebrity for breastfeeding her 5-month-old daughter throughout her catwalk during the Sports Illustrated Swim Search fashion show for Miami Swim Week.

Now Mara has become a beacon of hope for all moms who wish for breastfeeding to be normalized rather than sexualized.

“I can’t believe I am waking up to headlines with me and my daughter in them for doing something I do every day,” Martin said on an Instagram post. “It is truly so humbling and unreal to say the least.
