Free agent Manny Machado is going to sign with the White Sox. This is according to Hector Gomez of Z101 Digital, who has a source that says he will be signing with Chicago.
Gomez has been on top of all the news involving Machado this off-season. He’s been credited with revealing the 8-year $250 million offer from the White Sox.

It makes a ton of sense for Machado to sign with the White Sox given the amount of friends and family they have added to their roster. But from a contending standpoint, they aren’t quite there, which might be why he hasn’t signed already.
