Dodgers shortstop Manny Machado was fined an undisclosed amount for his dirty play on Brewers first baseman Jesus Aguilar.

The decision to fine Machado was a no-brainer. He clearly kicked Aguilar’s ankle on purpose and had to be punished.

Nobody should be surprised if the Brewers still decide to retaliate. A hard slide into a bag or a fastball up and in is probably coming Machado’s way.
