Padres $300 million man Manny Machado was watching the MLB Network after the Angels exacted a little revenge against Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick on Tuesday night. The pitch was up and in to Marisnick and was an obvious response to him running over catcher Jonathan Lucroy a few days ago.
The MLB Network’s Eric Byrnes and Dan Plesac weren’t fans of the location of the pitch to Marisnick. Machado took note of that and blasted the two by insinuating they only had a problem with the location of the pitch because the batter was white.
