Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins blasted officials after Philadelphia’s overtime loss to the Cowboys on Sunday. He was asked about the game’s opening kickoff, which was fumbled by Dallas and appeared to be recovered by the Eagles.
Philly had to challenge the play and when they did it was ruled that the Cowboys returner did fumble the ball, but that there was no clear recovery. The ruling came despite the fact that there were only Eagles players around the loose ball.

Jenkins answered the question by taking a shot at the officials in New York, “Whoever is watching that in New York should stay off the bottle.”

Jenkins can expect to hear from the NFL about these comments. A fine will add to the heartbreak of the overtime loss to the Cowboys on Sunday.
