Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner gave up an absolute monster blast to Dodgers first baseman Max Muncy in the top of the first inning on Sunday.
Bumgarner took exception to Muncy admiring his shot and the two exchanged words as he slowly rounded the bases.

Bumgarner dialed in after the heated exchange and turned in his most efficient start of the season. He only allowed one run on the solo shot to Muncy in the first.
Madison Bumgarner is done after 86 pitches in seven innings. Gave up just the solo shot to Max Muncy. His most efficient start of the season. Maxed out at 93 mph and maintained it. Not a single fastball under 91.

The Giants and Dodgers rivalry is officially back on. Muncy’s a big boy, but I doubt he really wants any of Bumgarner.
