Luka Doncic has Ended the Legal fight with his Mother

Luka and his mother were having a little tiff.  

This week roughly three months after the suit was filed,  it appears as though a resolution was reached.

“Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has ended the fight with his mother over her rights to a trademark bearing his name, according to a Thursday filing by the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board,” law360.com reported.

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic and his mother, Mirjam Poterbin, have been embroiled in a messy legal battle for months.  According to NBA insider Marc Stein, Doncic was “seeking to cancel the registration of the trademark ‘LUKA DONCIC 7’ that is currently owned by his mother.”

At the core of the dispute was the “LUKA DONCIC 7” trademark, which was controlled by his mother and she had refused to hand off to him.

Glad he and his Mom were able to figure this out.
