LSU and Miami kicked off their seasons in Dallas at AT&T Stadium on Sunday night. No cupcake games for these two to get things started, those come next week.
Prior to kickoff the two teams had to be separated. We all know if there’s a big game and Miami isn’t in some sort of pregame fight then the big game might as well have not taken place.

It turned out the pregame fight was all the Hurricanes had Sunday night. LSU jumped on them in the first half and took a 27-3 lead into halftime. The Tigers put it in cruise control in the second half and walked away with a 33- 17 win over the number 8 ranked Hurricanes.
Maybe next time save some of that fight for the actual game.
