Kenner, Louisiana mayor Ben Zahn, who sent out a private memo on September 5th announcing a ban on all purchases of Nike merchandise by their parks and recreation department, ended the ban after just one week. Sounds like someone was feeling the heat of the national spotlight.

The mayor held a brief press conference on Wednesday to make the announcement. Clearly his politics change direction with the wind and when the wind said the ban was a bad idea, he changed along with it.
