The trade deadline came and went on Thursday without a trade between the Pelicans and Lakers for Anthony Davis getting done. That meant half of the Lakers roster didn’t get shipped out to New Orleans.
The Lakers did make a move before the trade deadline, sending Michael Beasley, Ivica Zubac to Clippers for Mike Muscala.
Lonzo Ball released a statement on his Instagram Story after the trade deadline passed and he was not traded.

It’s safe to assume that Zo is happy he’s staying in Los Angeles. He’s “not going anywhere.”
Now all he has to do is try to convince LaVar to be quiet again.
