The Lakers issued a medical update on Lonzo Ball after he underwent arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn meniscus in his knee. According to the update the surgery was a successful one and he is expected to make a full recovery.
MEDICAL UPDATE: Lakers guard Lonzo Ball had successful arthroscopic surgery to his left knee today.

The surgery was successful in other ways as well. The knee injury and the timing of when it was revealed likely kept him out of any trade talks.
Like it or not the Lakers will have Lonzo on their roster until he has recovered and proven that there aren’t any further issues with the knee.
It’s going to be a ton of fun out in Los Angeles next season.
