LFL Head Coach Chris Michaelson Goes Off on the Referees During an Upset Loss to the Acoustic

LFL head coach Chris Michaelson is one of the most entertaining coaches in sports.  His sideline rants and interactions with referees are becoming legendary.

During his top ranked Seattle Mist’s 36-33 upset loss to the Austin Acoustic, he got into an argument with a referee about the rule book. 

The two ended up placing bets that involved beer on which one of them knew the rule in question better.

This is just another reason why the LFL is awesome.  The NFL could learn a thing or two about entertainment value. 

Nobody is saying the NFL should start playing games in their underwear, but a little more interactions with referees like this one wouldn’t hurt.
