The 2018 Le’Veon Bell watch continues. According to Ian Rapoport, the Steelers’ holdout running back still hasn’t been spotted as the Steelers facility.
There were rumors that Bell would join the team by this week. For now those are still just rumors. He doesn’t technically have to report until Week 10 to keep his free agent status intact for next season.
#Steelers players are in the building in Pittsburgh, back from their bye week, but I’m told RB Le’Veon Bell is not among them. The wait continues… Background from Sunday on my conversation with owner Art Rooney II: https://t.co/uHuCShGb1w

There are new rumors that Bell won’t show up until after the trade deadline because he doesn’t want to be traded, via ESPN:
There are some sources around the league who believe that because Bell does not want to be traded, he will wait until after the NFL’s Oct. 30 trade deadline to return to work.
The Steelers could not trade Bell until he signs his franchise tender, and if he waits to sign the tender after the deadline, Pittsburgh could not deal him.
This saga just continues to roll on. I hope someone releases a study as to how much money fantasy football owners lost due to Bell’s holdout.
