Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell took to social media Tuesday evening and denied reports that he would be reporting to the team on Labor Day. He called the reports “fake news.”
Reporting that Bell is joining the Steelers on Labor Day would be a weird story to make up. Somebody had to believe that was the case.
Maybe he said it, maybe someone thought they heard him say it. The point is that it’s highly unlikely that it was made up out of thin air.
Whenever he does report doesn’t really matter. The fact is, Bell will report and will be in a Steelers uniform at some point this season.
