LeBron James was born in Akron, Ohio, to a single mother who was forced at times to move herself and her son to different beds on a regular basis. From an early age, it was clear he had a gift. Gloria nurtured that gift, and as a result, a little boy from Akron turned into a King.
Bron and his Mom Gloria have always been tight, and today on Twitter he paid his respects towards his Mom.
I shed a tear or 2 every single time this episode comes on! Can’t help it🤷🏾♂️. I’ve had that same feeling my whole life. #MommaThankYou❤️ https://t.co/dOg5JMpaCQ

Bron recently discussed just how tough it was for he and his Mom, and how grateful he was for the opportunity to go straight to the pros.
“Me and my mom was poor, I’ll tell you that, and they expected me to step foot on a college campus and not to go to the NBA? We weren’t going to be poor for long, I’ll tell you that. That’s a fact.”
We know LeBron is doing all he can to be the father to his kids that he never had, and I bet you he wouldn’t have changed a thing about the way he was raised. Great work Glo!
