LeBron James signed a four-year deal to with the Los Angeles Lakers this off-season. Due to the fact that he left Cleveland for Miami, then Miami for Cleveland, he was asked Tuesday about earning respect from the Lakers fan base.
LeBron didn’t seem to like the question much and laughed as he reminded the reporter he signed a four-year deal with the Lakers.
Reporter: “How do you expect to earn the loyalty and respect of the LA fan base?”
LeBron James: “Me? Huh? I signed a four-year deal, what more do you want me to do?”

LeBron makes a pretty good point. He can’t go anywhere for at least four years. After that he’s free to leave and at 37-years old when the contract ends, who knows how much basketball he will have left then.
