LeBron James is slowing down. The 33 year old is, according to the NBA’s tracking data, the slowest player on the court.
When it was brought up to the NBA superstar, he wasn’t a fan.
“That’s the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard,” James told The Athletic after his 44 points evened this series at two games each. “That tracking bullshit can kiss my ass. The slowest guy? Get out of here.”
James then offered a suggestion… “Tell them to track how tired I am after the game, track that shit,” James said. “I’m No. 1 in the NBA on how tired I am after the game.”
Could it be LeBron is just pacing himself? He can still blow by anyone he wants, whenever he wants.
This postseason, maybe more than any other one, LeBron appears to be pacing himself. He clearly can still turn it on whenever he wants.
