While LaVar Ball spent some of his time on ESPN’s First Take hitting on Jalen Rose’s Wife, he found some time to say some other pretty stupid things.
Just to refresh your memory on some things LaVar said leading up to his son’s trade.
LaVar told ESPN on Feb. 4:
“We want to be in L.A. But if he’s traded, I don’t want Lonzo in New Orleans. Phoenix is the best fit for him. And I am going to speak it into existence.”
After news of the Davis blockbuster surfaced, LaVar said trading away Lonzo would be: “the worst move the Lakers ever did” and the team “will never win another championship.”

LaVar continued on that track Monday, saying the Lakers “let go of the best thing they had going for them” and that it’s “raggedy over there.”
Then he did an about face.
LaVar said he wanted his son Lonzo to play for the New Orleans Pelicans all along, and took credit for the trade.
LaVar Ball told Stephen A. Smith that he wanted the Los Angeles Lakers to trade Lonzo Ball to the New Orleans Pelicans and used the media to make it happen.
LaVar can’t even keep his own BS straight.
What a fool.
