LaVar Ball was attending a Drew League game on Saturday to watch LaMelo play when he found out about Lonzo being traded to the Pelicans.
All eyes were on him after the announcement was made and the Big Baller was initially subdued and visibly upset by the news.
When first asked about the trade, he didn’t have much to say.

That was short-lived. Ball eventually started opening up about the deal and it wasn’t long before he was making outrageous statements again.
LaVar first started off by saying that all of his boys were going to be in the NBA. He then said that Zion Williamson was going to have to learn how to play with Lonzo.

We’re happy once he wrapped his mind around the fact that Lonzo was no longer a Laker, he snapped back to being himself. It was touch and go there for a minute and there was a real chance that the trade broke him forever.
