LaVar Ball’s Junior Basketball Association is struggling to fill the seats. In Chicago this week New York beat Dallas, 96-92, and Chicago topped Houston in overtime, 125-117.
According to SB Nation’s Ricky O’Donnell, the number of seats filled at Wintrust Arena hovered around 100. Pretty bad to say the least.

Of course just like the snake-oil salesman Lavar is, he addressed the size of the crowd, and had this to say.

I’m pretty sure everyone who dislikes LaVar is super happy his league is struggling. That’s what he gets for being a jerk, I wonder if he ever thought he would actually need the public to buy in. We know the media did, but not so sure people want to help a guy like Lavar be successful. He also is charging north of 40 dollars per ticket, that certainly can’t help.
