The Clark County District Attorney’s office will not file charges against soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo over allegations that he sexually assaulted a Nevada woman in 2009.
The D.A.’s office said in a statement Monday that a request for prosecution was submitted on July 8th after Las Vegas Metropolitan Police reopened its investigation last year.
The woman filed a civil suit against Ronaldo last year, alleging he raped her at a Las Vegas hotel in 2009.
