Ravens rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson got his first career start on Sunday against the Bengals. He was pushed into action after Joe Flacco’s hip injury kept him out of the lineup.
Jackson ran all over the Ravens divisional rival and took home a 24-21 win. The win ended a three game losing streak and might have ended the Flacco era in Baltimore.
Jackson racked up 117 yards on 27 carries and added another 150 with his arm.

“I thought he played spectacular. I thought he played winning football,” coach John Harbaugh said. “The playmaking — that comes from God. He made use of that, too.”
Does “winning football” mean he’ll get another start, even if Flacco is ready to go? We’ll have to wait and see, but there will be calls in Baltimore for Jackson to start over Cool Joe. At 5-5 what do the Ravens have to lose at this point?
