Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson took over the starting quarterback job for Baltimore when Joe Flacco went down with an injury last season. He never gave the job back and led the Ravens to the playoffs primarily with his legs.
The Ravens went old school and became a run heavy team with Jackson. The lack of a passing game was laughable at times. Even Jackson had a laugh about it over the weekend and shared a YouTube video he found of his passing highlights from last season.
When asked if the video was longer than two minutes, Jackson replied that is was six minutes long and called that shocking.
What is shocking is how well Jackson handles the criticism of his passing game. His passing game does need some work, but he managed to get it done through the air in college.
We’re confident Jackson will figure it out, he has RGIII to mentor him after all.
