Lamar Jackson’s mother, Felicia Jones, will advise Jackson for the time being, with the NFL scouting combine approaching this week.
A Louisville spokesman confirmed Monday that Jackson has not hired an agent other than Jones.
Jackson is one of 19 quarterbacks invited to the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis this week. The quarterbacks are scheduled for registration Wednesday, measurements and medical examinations Thursday, psychological testing and media interviews Friday and on-field workouts Saturday.
This is a pretty cool story, maybe she can help ensure Lamar gets drafted in the first round. The 2018 NFL Draft is set for Thursday, April 26 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
