The Lakers have claimed Kostas Antetokounmpo, the 21-year-old brother of MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, off of waviers. The 6’11” forward will be on a two-way contract and will join the team’s training camp and preseason roster.
The former Mavericks draft pick does not have much NBA experience, only appearing in two games for Dallas last season. Los Angeles is hoping Kostas can continue to develop and provide depth behind Anthony Davis at the forward position.
