It looks like Kyler Murray made the right decision when he chose football over baseball, financially anyway. NFL insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that the former Heisman Trophy winner signed a 4-year, $35 million fully guaranteed rookie deal with the Cardinals.
It’s a 4-year deal worth $35,158,644 fully guaranteed, with a 5th year option, source said. https://t.co/gPDPEFk70t

Financially it was certainly a good move for the 21-year-old. We’ll have to wait and see if it works out for him professionally. Can Murray’s game translate to the professional level and will he be able to avoid injury?
I hope I’m wrong, but something tells me he’s not going to be the Cardinals starting quarterback at the end of this deal.
