Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray announced Monday that he has decided to play football. The Heisman Trophy winner will focus on the upcoming NFL Combine and the NFL draft.

Shortly after Murray made that announcement, a rumor started to make the rounds that the Cardinals told him they would draft him with the number one overall pick and trade Josh Rosen if he committed to football.
Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said he would pick Murray with the number one overall pick, before he was even in the NFL.

On Tuesday the rumor seemed to be confirmed with reports that Murray chose Erik Burkhardt as his agent.
Burkhardt just so happens to also represent Kliff Kingsbury.

Burkhardt also represents Cardinals’ HC Kliff Kingsbury, who said last fall he would take Murray if he had the No. 1 overall pick.
