The trade between the Knicks and Mavericks didn’t seem like one that benefited New York. They sent Kristaps Porzingis, Tim Hardaway Jr., Courtney Lee and Trey Burke to Dallas for Dennis Smith Jr., DeAndre Jordan, Wesley Matthews and two first-round draft picks.
Now we have video game confirmation that the deal wasn’t in the best interest of the Knicks. The trade was rejected on NBA 2K, because the talent sent to the Knicks didn’t match what was going the Mavs way.
No kidding.
Damn Knicks are so dumb 2k wouldn’t even allow that trade 😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/LbcTvyLn8c

The only way the Knicks receive any kind of redemption is if they manage to land a couple of big names in the off-season or those first-round draft picks end up being star players in the NBA.
